     The Reach Out and Read Arizona Coalition was established in 2002 and is a coalition of 185 sites serving 117,056 of Arizona's children each year.   Reach Out and Read prepares America's youngest children to succeed in school by partnering with doctors to prescribe books and encourage families to read together.  Reach Out and Read Arizona trains medical providers to integrate literacy into well child visits by giving new books to children between the ages of 6 months through 5 years.
