     Firehouse cooks and restaurant chefs throughout the Valley are set to battle fires in the kitchens of the Allstate Appliance Scottsdale Showroom, February 7th, in an effort to raise funds for the 100 Club of Arizona.

   The 6 Alarm Cook-off will showcase a sizzling spectacle as seasoned chefs’ paired up with firehouse cooks, whose on ­the­ job culinary skills are but a side ­item to their work saving lives each and every day.

     Award winning Chefs and Restaurants participating in this exciting event include; Executive Chef Chris Wolven of The Henry, Dave & Jodi the chef/owners of Vermont Sandwich Company, Dr. BBQ of Dewd Ranch BBQ, Lisa and her amazing staff at Tryst Café, Chef Fred Flores of Culinary Dropout and Chef Cesar Vasquez of Distrito.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     “In an effort to serve those fire, law enforcement, public safety personnel who serve our community so valiantly when tragedy strikes, it’s events such as this that enable us to serve, support and provide financial assistance to their families in their time of need,” says Sharon Knutson ­Felix, Executive Director of The 100 Club of Arizona. “Building awareness of the need, our services and our community impact, is something that this event will allow us to do in a fun, light­hearted and impactful way.”

 

 

       Attendees will enjoy a host of delightful dishes from local restaurants that will tempt the taste buds with fare ranging from light appetizers to signature dishes, all of which include a variety of accompanying spirits.   Dirty Tequila, Agave Underground and Angels Envy Bourbon Whiskey will all be participating in this years Cocktail Challenge!
